BlockBid is a public leaderboard for products, projects and useful corners of the web. There is no sign-up, profile or internal balance. Paste a URL, pay with USDC, and the confirmed amount is added to that URL.

The block and the mempool

The top ten URLs fill the next block and are drawn as stacked slabs, each as wide as its share of the leading total. Everything below rank ten waits in the mempool. It is the same idea as blockspace: limited room at the top, and the biggest payment gets in.

Cumulative by design

A URL keeps its total. Anyone can add another payment to it, and every confirmed top-up can move it higher. Rank is the cumulative USDC total, highest first. If totals match, the URL that reached the total first stays ahead.

Why USDC on Base

One stable asset keeps the amount understandable and removes price-conversion surprises. Base Pay opens a one-tap USDC approval and the server verifies the transaction, amount and recipient before the leaderboard changes.

What this build does

Local development runs in demo mode, so you can test the complete flow without moving funds. Configure a recipient and Base mode to test real verification on Base Sepolia.
